PAKISTAN


Hunza, Hispar, Gilgit, Astor, Ghizar, Yasin

Our trips to Pakistan are for the adventure seeker only. We do not run fixed departures on these trips offering only a full bespoke team packages in the spring (March) and fall (Sept), although we can add people to selected teams. we will not be placing this on www.purelandexpeditions.com as theses trips are not open to all. Minimum numbers are 3 max number is 6. Our Pakistan journey takes us from the main hub of Pindi north up the Karakorum highway via the Indus. Our journey by road takes 2 full days – we stay in hotels overnight.

Once in Gilgit we use the Royal Park hotel as our base and move daily to each section of river. On rivers that are further away we overnight again in hotels. This is true for the Hunza, Hispar and sections of the Indus.

We advise the use of big river boats and an open mind.

Hindu Kush and Himalayas are called floor of sky. I visited here when I was on trekking in Pakistantour and salute to those people that live there but no doubt its called heaven on earth.
